Lacrosse

Fall 2025

In partnership with Sow Good Now and Mesa Lacrosse students had an opportunity to participate in a 1.5 hour long clinic followed by lunch with Mesa Lacrosse players. Each student was provided with a free lacrosse stick to take home and continue to practice the skills learned. We are looking forward to future opportunities for more students to learn about a sport that typically is not overly popular in the communities we serve.

November 2024

Members of the Malvern Prep lacrosse team provided an opportunity for students to play lacrosse for the first time.

Two events, held in October and November were spearheaded by students TJ McDermott and Brendan Brill who were eager to bring more sports opportunities to the community in the future.

Mary Fischer-Nassib, founder of Sow Good Now, commented, “The event was really wonderful. I was so proud of the kids. They were so courageous and kind to each other. The Malvern Prep athletes were great leaders. We are really grateful for the partnership that allows us to bring communities together.”
