Explorer Sports
The Explorer Sports Program was established in the fall of 2025 after extensive research and surveying of students, family member, community leaders, teachers and administrators to address the unmet needs of youth throughout the communities of Chester, Upland and Eddystone in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Building upon the strong foundation of Youth Development United’s after-school Soccer for Success program, YDU has begun providing additional students with access to activities they would otherwise not have an opportunity to try. YDU intends to gather data on each activity and partnership, measuring which activities receive the most interest with an intention to add more sport/activity focused opportunities for those students who show a greater interest in one or more new activity.
