Soccer Saturday's are Back!

While it was much cooler than expected, our coach-mentors and participants from Stetser Elementary and Main Street Elementary braved the cold for our first ‘Soccer Saturday’ in many years. Students were led through drills followed by small-sided games. Participants were also given healthy snacks to energize them throughout the two-hour session.

Soccer Saturday’s had been a community staple prior to Covid and we are looking to re-build this family engagement opportunity once again. In years past we had well over 100 attendees on a weekly basis and while it may take time to achieve that level, we believe that the competition, family-friendly environment, and the addition of other sports and activities will make this once again the place to be on Saturday mornings!

May 2 - History of Sport in Chester Storybook Walk - Eyre Park (11am-3pm)

May 9 - Chester Riverfest - Subaru Park (11am-2pm)
