2nd Bike Repair Station Installation at Chester City Hall

On Friday November 11th, YDU program partners came together to celebrate the installation of the 2nd bike repair station in Chester. Due to the frequent use of the first installation at Eyre Park and through the generosity of Power Home Remodeling, Mayor Roots and Chester City, the Circuit Trails, Barron Lacy and 9th Street YCC, Four Seasons Produce, The Swarthmore Co-Op and Nick Kaplinsky we, were able identify a secondary location at Chester City Hall that we expect to get frequent use.

In addition to the installation, we were able to raffle off 20 bicycles, helmets and locks, taking our all-time total to 419 bikes donated to deserving children throughout the greater Chester community.
