House of Sport Field Trip

Two separate groups of students had an opportunity to visit the Dicks Sporting Goods House of Sport in Wilmington, Delaware, earlier this month. In addition to receiving a gift bag and designing their own baseball hat, students had the opportunity to test out the batting cages, basketball skills challenge, putting and golf simulator, corn hole and, climbing wall. The Dicks Sporting Goods staff were amazing, providing a memorable experience for the YDU participants. Upon departure, many of the students were asking ‘when can we come back for another chance to climb the wall?’
