Fall programming is a wrap

This fall students from Main Street Elementary (Upland), Stetser Elementary (Chester), Edgmont Scholars (Chester) and Lighthouse Hall (Eddystone) had an opportunity to continue to refine their soccer skills through the US Soccer Foundation’s Soccer for Success curriculum. In addition, YDU was proud to launch the Explorer Sport initiative, providing students with access to the following sports/activities, many for the first time - wrestling, ultimate frisbee, baseball/softball, lacrosse, flag football, judo, pickleball and golf. In total, 172 students were involved in the YDU fall program and as we look to resume in the New Year, new students and sites are likely to be included.

  • multiple field trips provided
