Springtime Saturday Includes Library Career Discovery Day and More

On Saturday, Youth Development United families enjoyed the latest installment of Career Discovery Day, featuring jobs at the library, as well as a musical instrument petting zoo hosted by Keep Music Alive, soccer with Chester Upland Youth Soccer and a pizza picnic.

Participants learned about different areas of the library through a creative scavenger hunt led by Crozer Library Director Lauren Sands.

Vincent James of Keep Music Alive shared, “We had a great time introducing three dozen kids to different instruments, and introduced several parents to our mission. We made connections for possible future events as well.  Thanks again for having us be part of Saturday’s event.”
