YDU Welcomes Jesse Brittain to the Team

Youth Development United is excited to announce that Jesse Brittain has been hired as the second ever Program Manager, working to support the Executive Director and the organization’s mission. A Chester native, Jesse grew up benefitting from the programs that YDU (then Chester Upland Youth Soccer) provided and is passionate about returning to give back to the community that shaped him.

As a recent graduate, Jesse received a bachelor's degree in marketing. He also enjoyed a decorated collegiate soccer career, earning First Team All-Conference honors all four years at the NCAA level. He also earned First Team All-Region recognition and garnered national attention as one of the top 15 goal scorers in the nation during his freshman year, capping his career with Player of the Year honors as a senior. Jesse is currently in the process of obtaining his USSF coaching licenses and is deeply committed to being a consistent, positive presence for the youth in Chester; ensuring they have access to the same opportunities that transformed his own life.
